So what if my sister is a porn star?

April 7, 2008

Read the following (made-up?) story about a brother waking up to a “nightmare”.

Frankly, I was moved. Not so much from the pedo references as from the bitter mindframe of the so called “brother” who relates the story.

So what’s the big deal if your sister does porn? Or your mother happens to be a prostitute? What’s the fucking deal if your grandmother loves to have sex?

Aren’t we humans for god’s (and our own) sake? Isn’t the procreation of our species dependent upon the act of penis going inside a vagina? How can people be so narrow minded and disconnected from the joys of reproduction? It’s an evolutionary mystery.

It’s paradigms such as these that overrate sexual intercourse more than it should, and make life difficult for rape victims, call girls and women in general.

I would think that most people can’t leave their opinions as just an opinion. It has to be shoved down someone and they have to accept it. If they don’t people get nasty and start the bitch ride..

And yes they don’t understand basic biology… its the stigma that one generation creates that moves to the next. Hopefully with time this will break down and it’ll be an open minded society we will in.

  2. Do you think the brother is bitter about who his sister is or rather the fact that it was beyond his capability to help her?
As I was reading, I didn’t think for once that he was ashamed of her but rather he was regrettful that he hadn’t done enough to help her.

Read these lines again..the rest of the story is filled with subtle references

“”You know she’s doing porn, don’t you?” he said.
I felt like the floor was giving way below me.
    “I didn’t know,” I said.
“It’s nasty, Bob. She’s doing everything. Girls. Black guys. Gang bangs. Taking it up the ass.”
“How do you know this?” I said.
“Because I saw it. I saw it with my own eyes.”
“It’s true, brother,” his wife said.
“Are you sure it’s her?” I said.
“It’s her, Bob,” he said. “You don’t believe me, check it out for yourself.”

He told me her porn name. It sounded like the name of a character from a Victorian novel.

    “She’s a whore,” he said.

My wife and I exchanged a look. Don’t worry, she told me with her eyes, we’ll talk about this later. Just get through it.

Thank God my son didn’t hear. My aunt had taken him to the bathroom.

  4. If we’re talking about the guy who is actually the author, then I stand by my first point. It’s their other brother who has the issues.

And if I had a son at that age, that’s not the kind of thing I’d want them to hear either.

    I couldn’t agree more.
